Team Negroni Rides for Breast Cancer Relief

The bartending community is a close-knit group, with the best bartenders, barbacks, servers and other hospitality professionals actively supporting one another’s lives both behind the stick and outside the bar. And nowhere is that sense of family more obvious than within the ranks of the United States Bartenders’ Guild, a 60-year-old organization that sponsors educational opportunities, community service days and social events.

But it’s not all fun and games. The USBG National Charity Foundation is the driving force behind multiple worthy causes, including the Bartender Emergency Assistance Program, assisting bar staff in times of extreme hardship, and the Helen David Relief Fund, supporting industry workers who are fighting breast cancer.

During Negroni Week—June 6 to 12 this year—groups of bartenders and spirits aficionados dubbed Team Negroni will be cycling in 40-mile charity rides in four cities across the country: San Francisco, Chicago, Orlando and Las Vegas. Want to support your local team? Visit the Crowdrise fundraising page for more details.
