If you can’t make it to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding at St. George’s Chapel in May, just head to Washington, D.C. instead. From the geniuses that brought us an epic “Game of Thrones” pop-up bar comes the Royal Wedding PUB, set to open May 4.
Drink Company will transform the space formerly home to Eat the Rich into a Windsor Castle and Chapel replica complete with vaulted ceilings and stained glass windows. The site will also have a Buckingham Palace–inspired throne room with two mahogany thrones and a special mailbox where you can deposit congratulatory letters to be sent to Kensington Palace.
The 10-drink cocktail menu is aptly designed as well. Try the When Harry Met Meghan, a scotch drink served in a commemorative mug for the royal wedding, or the God Save the Queen, a Gin Martini served with a crown.
On May 19, the day of the wedding, the venue will host a ticketed event for wedding watchers to celebrate.
Don’t forget your hat.
