The World’s First Drinkable Tech Menu is Set to Launch

Contributed by

Coming this summer, Jason Atherton’s infamous Art Deco–style restaurant and bar is bringing an entirely new concept to the cocktail world. City Social will soon launch Mirage, the world’s first augmented reality cocktail menu.

Patrons of the London-based bar will be asked to download the bar’s custom app upon arrival, which will transform their cocktail of choice into a literal work of art. When it arrives, simply point your phone at the drink and watch the art appear, from Van Gogh to Banksy.

The geniuses involved in concocting this boozy universe are two of the bar industry’s most established experts and are known to excel in the creativity department. Creators Jamie Jones and Tim Laferla were inspired to design their app by artists throughout numerous eras and decided to combine their passion for art with their love of the liquor world.

Though most of the drink selections will remain under wraps until the official opening, expect to see some truly magical concoctions that will surely amaze and delight every user.
