Drink Bourbon with Heritage (Partner Tip)

Fall just started on Sunday, and the perfect way to kick off the season is, of course, by drinking some bourbon.

We suggest you take advantage by picking up a bottle of Larceny Kentucky Straight Bourbon. This tasty spirit is not only delicious but also steeped in whiskey heritage.

Larceny’s legend begins way back in the late 1800s, when treasury agent John E. Fitzgerald pilfered the finest barrels from the bonded bourbon warehouses under his protection. But today, the brand is crafted by whiskey royalty: father-and-son Master Distillers Parker and Craig Beam. Together, they have nearly a century of experience making some of the best-known whiskey brands, including Elijah Craig, Evan Williams and Rittenhouse Rye.

For Larceny, the Beams start with a mix of corn, wheat and barley, leading to an exceptionally smooth and more mellow-tasting bourbon. They then bottle the spirit at a robust 92-proof, which makes it ideal for mixing in cocktails.

If you’re a fan of Manhattans, try the Crime and Punishment, a combo that adds sweet vermouth and slightly bitter Aperol to the whiskey. Another good one to try is the A Thief in the Night, which balances the sweetness of Larceny and honey syrup with Averna Amaro’s herbal complexity. Or shake up a citrusy twist on the frothy and delicious Whiskey Sour: The Watchman.

No matter which drink you choose, you’ll be celebrating American history. Cheers!
