Spirits producers are rolling out splashy new bottles with the holidays in mind. What’s in the bottle isn’t necessarily new. But the outside has collectors with special interests in mind.
For the art lover: 1800 Tequila’s Keith Haring bottles ($35)
Each year, 1800 Tequila releases a new series of limited edition “Essential Artists” bottles. Last year’s Series 6 focused on Jean-Michel Basquiat; this year, Series 7 showcases artwork created by another late New York artist, Keith Haring. Buy it here.
For the neo-club kid: Hennessy V.S. Limited Edition by Ryan McGinness ($42)
It’s the same cognac inside, but the trippy label on this limited edition collaboration with artist Ryan McGinness features “The Radiating Eye,” a neon-hued design that glows under black light. Buy it here.

Jose Cuervo is releasing two limited edition bottlings of their Especial and Reserva de la Familia expressions, celebrating The Rolling Stones’ notorious 1972 North American tour, aka the “Tequila Sunrise Tour.” The bottlings, launching separately, include Especial (silver), hailing “the pinnacle partier,” while the pricier extra añejo tequila reserve is aimed at “the indulgent reveler” who appreciates “the rock star lifestyle.” Buy it here.
