Peep-Infused Beer Is Here

It’s officially Peep season—the one time of year anyone pretends to like the adorable marshmallow creations that are more fun to microwave than eat. And that means people are doing more weird stuff to the sticky, seasonal creatures. Collective Brewing Project, the same mad scientists that brought us ramen beer last year, is releasing a Peep-infused brew just in time for spring.

Peep This Collab is a joint project between the Collective Brewing Project and a local growler fill-up, Lone Star Taps & Caps. The sour ale is flavored with vanilla, lemon peel and 30 boxes of marshmallow Peeps and contains butterfly pea flower, a popular color-changing ingredient giving it a purple hue. To top it off, they’ve added edible glitter, because why not?

Unfortunately, you’ll only be able to get your hands on a glass if you live in the Fort Worth, Texas, area. The rest of us will just have to stick to watching them explode in the microwave I guess.
