New York’s PDT Launches New Cocktail App

Contributed by

Ever need a cocktail recipe at a moment’s notice? You’re in luck: Award-winning cocktail bar Please Don’t Tell is bringing the craft cocktail renaissance to your fingertips.

Jim Meehan, owner of the legendary New York speakeasy and a Liquor.com advisory board member, collaborated with cocktail historian and app developer Martin Doudoroff and PDT bartender and photographer Nick Brown to create an app that allows users to access over 400 cocktail recipes.

The perfect followup to Meehan’s The PDT Cocktail Book, the app, PDT Cocktails, includes over 100 recipes not featured in the book. It also has a search feature that allows users to quickly find recipes for both cocktails and cocktail ingredients, making it easier for users to mix up craft cocktails using what they have on hand.

The app serves as a database for both the classics and PDT house creations. Dozens of bartenders—including current head bartender at PDT Jeff Bell and Momofuku beverage manager John deBary contributed recipes.

PDT Cocktails is available to download now at Apple’s App Store for $9.99. Get the app here.
