If there’s any brand that’s making sure you always have the booze you need when you’re on the go, it’s Pabst Blue Ribbon. From your morning coffee to your annual ski trip to your after-work nightcap, there’s a PBR for that.
Now, the cult-favorite beer brand is introducing a seltzer into the mix but with a very welcome twist. Stronger Seltzer is one of the booziest hard seltzers on the market. The lime-flavored drink is 8% ABV (compared to most versions that are 5%) and comes in a 16-ounce can.
It may have more alcohol, but it also has a lot more calories. While the average seltzer has around 100 calories per serving, PBR’s product has 228 calories. It does only have 1 gram of sugar though, compared to White Claw’s 2 grams.
The new seltzer will be available in select stores in Arizona, California, Montana and Texas.
It seems there is a new seltzer out on the market every day. So the question remains: Which brand will reign supreme?
