Bartenders: Watch Your San Francisco Peers Take a Shift in Mexico | Partner Tip

Ever wish you could transport yourself to a bar south of the border?

Well, get ready to hit the road. On August 17, the Bar Shift Program from BACARDÍ® USA and Liquor.com, will be granting that wish for two lucky bartenders. For one night only, Caitlin Laman from San Francisco’s Trick Dog and John Codd from Gaspar will work a shift together at Limantour in Mexico City, from 8pm to midnight.

The goal of Bar Shift, this exclusive educational exchange program, is to elevate and inspire professional bartenders across the country. Here’s how it works: Bar Shift sends a rising bartending star (or two) to an iconic cocktail bar in another city to work one night’s shift. During those precious hours, the bartender learns what it takes to succeed behind the stick at another of the country’s finest drinking destinations—and takes that knowledge back to influence his or her hometown bar.

RSVP now for a chance to attend this groundbreaking event on August 17 and watch this San Francisco bartending duo sling in person in Mexico City. Not based in Mexico City or can’t swing a trip there? Don’t worry: Bar Shifts are being hosted in major cities around the country throughout 2015. Your hometown could be next.

Watch your fellow bartenders take a shot at a new stick and find out more about the BACARDÍ® USA Bar Shift Program now.
