New Chicago Target Aims to Serve Booze

Attention all shoppers: There’s a full-service bar in aisle 7.

This fall, Target customers will be able to get a little buzzed while they browse the aisles of a new store near Chicago’s Navy Pier.

The new Streeterville Target, which is set to open this October, applied in August for a liquor license that would allow the location to not only sell beer and wine, but to also serve the booze in-store. You can finally put your shopping cart’s cup holder to good use.
