We’ve probably all fallen prey to a drunk text or two, but what about other questionable tipsy activity? A new study suggests we may be developing more bad habits after a night of imbibing.
According to a new study by Finder.com, 46 percent of Americans who regularly drink alcohol weekly admit to shopping under the influence.
Research shows that buzzed shoppers are spending an average of $206 in under-the-influence purchases. The most common investments amongst drunk shoppers are shoes or clothes (39 percent), tied with gambling (39 percent). Rounding out the top three is cigarettes with 38 percent.
The study also rounded up a few more interesting stats, including that we spend an average of $80.05 each week on alcohol and the most popular alcoholic drink is beer.
