As disaster looms from Hurricane Florence, MillerCoors announced it has donated 200,000 cans of water to victims of the storm. The American Red Cross and area food banks will receive and distribute the cans.

“We hope this water donation provides some relief and comfort to residents and first responders in Hurricane Florence’s path,” said Karina Diehl, the MillerCoors senior director of national community affairs, in a statement.

The water cans will be shipped from the MillerCoors brewery in Shenandoah, Va.

MillerCoors has already donated 75,000 cans of water this year to communities in need. It has historically donated 550,000 cans of water during disasters in Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.
