Quick! Head to the liquor store. Your favorite bargain Kentucky bourbon will no longer have a home on the shelves. Heaven Hill 6-Year Bottled-in-Bond bourbon has been discontinued.

In a statement released earlier this week, Heaven Hill explained that the demand for the beloved bourbon has been mainly limited to Kentucky. Bourbon heads might beg to differ, but there’s no denying the facts.

For Heaven Hill fans, this shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. Many of the brand’s labels have recently been removed from its portfolio. Heaven Hill explained that due to the rising demand for American whiskey, it has ceased the production of some of its more regional and younger-aged brands, such as Heaven Hill 6-Year Bottled-in-Bond and Old Fitzgerald Bottled-in-Bond.

The distillery plans to keep close to its bourbon heritage by introducing new bottlings under its Heaven Hill Bourbon banner, including an upcoming Heaven Hill 27-Year release.
