As America’s thirst for alternative boozy beverages continues to grow, we’re seeing even more products boast the combination of caffeine and booze. Another alcoholic coffee drink debuted this week, this time from MillerCoors.
The brewing company teamed up with popular coffee roaster La Colombe to try out a new boozy cold brew in three U.S. cities. The 4.2% ABV can will be available this month in Boston, Denver and the Tampa/Fort Myers/Treasure Coast area in Florida.
The coffee drink comes in black and vanilla flavors and contains medium-roasted Colombian and Brazilian cold-brew coffee, cane sugar, natural flavorings and malt-based alcohol. The beverages contain around 50 milligrams of caffeine per can and will be available in 9-ounce cans for around $3.
Whatever happened to good, old fashioned coffee cocktails?
