Gin Christmas Ornaments Debut in New Flavors

It feels like the holiday season comes earlier every year. Scottish distillery Pickering’s has announced this year’s lineup of gin-filled Christmas ornaments, and this season is full of new flavors.

A box of the popular holiday baubles is available for preorder now, including a mix of six different gins. But don’t expect the usual botanical flavors when you think of gin. The ornaments feature Christmas clementine, festive cranberry, spiced pear and cinnamon, figgy pudding, plum and ginger, and Brussels sprout.

That’s right, Brussels sprout. The company claims to have rescued “10,000 lonely and forgotten Perthshire sprouts” to create the world’s first Brussels sprout gin. And while it might seem like an odd ingredient, it will benefit a good cause. A donation will go to Contact the Elderly Community Christmas Campaign for every package sold.

Each limited-edition box contains six baubles of 50 milliliters of gin each. If you’re in one of the lucky regions where the company ships, they’re available for preorder for £25 ($30) now.
