Frozen Palomas May Be Coming To Chipotle

Just in time for summer, Chipotle may release a new frozen cocktail.

A Frozen Margarita is now available at Chipotle’s NEXT Kitchen in New York City. The drink costs $6.20 and is made with Sauza tequila, grapefruit juice, agave syrup and citrus juice. The ingredient list is a bit of a departure from the traditional Paloma recipe, hence the added Margarita moniker, which usually includes just tequila, grapefruit soda and lime.

Tasters from The Daily Meal claim the drink is heavy on the booze, though it’s high on sugar, too. But don’t run to your local Chipotle just yet. New products introduced into the test kitchen don’t always make it out to the public, so we’ll have to wait for an official announcement.
