Celebrities team up with booze brands all the time. Sean “Diddy” Combs throttled vodka made from grapes into the mainstream with Cîroc, and George Clooney’s tequila company sold for $1 billion last year. And that’s just the beginning. So it’s no surprise that rock legend Jon Bon Jovi wanted to get in on the action too with his own release.
The “Livin’ on a Prayer” singer announced he’ll debut his own rosé wine this year—and it’s so popular it’s already sold out to distributors. Bon Jovi teamed up with Languedoc pioneer Gerard Bertrand for the brand, and the duo have already sold the entire 2017 production of Diving into Hampton Water, which won’t be released until April 1.
The vintage is a blend of grenache, cinsault, syrah and mourvèdre, with a quarter of it aged in new oak for six months. It gets its moniker from the New York summer escape of the same name, and the bottom of the bottle is designed to look like coral.
If this seems like the most important part of your upcoming warm weather barbecues, we’d make sure to grab a bottle before they sell out.
