What happens when bourbon, lightning and strong winds meet at the perfect moment? That’s right—a firenado.

On September 3, the weather channel released footage of liquor-fueled funnel of fire.

In 2003, 800,000 gallons of bourbon whiskey spilled into a retention pond after lightning struck a neighboring Jim Beam warehouse in Kentucky. As storm conditions raged on, another bolt of lightning touched down at the newly booze-infused pond. The result? A blazing firenado.
