Ben & Jerry’s Releases a Bourbon Ice Cream

Do you ever find yourself in the dilemma of deciding between a rich bowl of ice cream and an indulgent after-dinner cocktail? Now you’ll no longer have to choose between the two.

As part of its new line of 2017 flavors, Ben & Jerry’s is releasing an Urban Bourbon variety. Inspired by popular food trends, the new flavor is made up of a burnt caramel base mixed with fudge flakes, almonds and bourbon-caramel swirls.

This isn’t the first time the ice cream brand has mingled in the alcohol world. Ben & Jerry’s previously collaborated with New Belgium Brewing to create a Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough beer and beer-flavored ice cream pairing. Two other flavors set to debut alongside Urban Bourbon are Oat of this Swirled, an oatmeal cookie ice cream, and Truffle Kerfuffle, a mix of vanilla with nuts and salted caramel ganache. (You’d need to add your own booze to these varieties, however.)

The new flavors are set to launch nationwide beginning mid-February, so keep your eyes open in the frozen dessert aisle.
