Bartenders: Do You Have What It Takes to Be Bartender of the Year? | Partner Tip

This year, one bartender will rise to the top and claim the ultimate professional title. Do you think you have what it takes?

Heaven Hill and Liquor.com challenge you to enter the Bartender of the Year competition for a chance to win $15,000. This nationwide competition runs now through October 1 and will test your skills across three exciting stages. To enter online, you’ll submit two original cocktail recipes using Elijah Craig, Rittenhouse, Domaine de Canton and/or PAMA. One cocktail recipe should be inspired by a classic and the other should demonstrate your personal style and sense of innovation.

What’s next after submission? If you and your recipes are chosen to move on to the next stage of the competition, you’ll head to the spring 2016 regionals held in New York, Chicago, New Orleans and San Francisco. There, judges will decide your fate and will select eight lucky competitors from the regional events to move on to the finals held in Puerto Rico.

If you’re one of the final eight competitors, you’ll go head-to-head with your fellow bartenders in the competition’s final round on June 7th, 2016. During the finals, you’ll showcase the full range of your professional skills for three esteemed judges and prove what bartending means to you, using Heaven Hill’s respected products.

What awaits the winner of the finals? A grand prize of $15,000 and the hard-earned title of Bartender of the Year—not to mention lifelong bragging rights.

Enter the competition by October 1 and you could have a chance at claiming the ultimate bartender’s title.
