While the summer of 2017 was one of rosé wine, 2018 has embraced a new trend—rosé hard cider. After the viral release of Angry Orchard Rosé Hard Cider, the internet has been astir with chatter about this new tipple, and now an ice cream company has teamed up with the cider brand to bring us a perfect treat for cooling down in the summer heat.
New York City’s Davey’s Ice Cream collaborated with Angry Orchard to produce rosé-hard-cider-infused flavors in honor of National Ice Cream Day on July 15. Rosé CreamCider combines Davey’s Sweet Ice Cream with a rosé sorbet from Angry Orchard, while the Pine-Apple Hibiscus Rosé Sorbet is made by infusing an Angry Orchard rosé cider base with pineapple juice and hibiscus.
These limited-edition flavors will only be available from July 13 through 15, and you’ll have to make your way to select Davey’s Ice Cream locations in NYC’s East Village, Greenpoint and Williamsburg.
Can’t make it to NYC? Make your own Frosé at home or try this Sparkling Rosé Margarita sans ice cream.
