Aldi Debuts Chocolate Wine Just in Time for Valentine’s Day

Contributed by

From the discount grocer that brought us boozy advent calendars and some of the best gin in the world for just $13 comes a new alcoholic treat just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Aldi is selling two different chocolate and red wine hybrids starting at $7.

Petit Chocolat wine—a combination of red wine and dark chocolate flavor and cream—looks almost like a cream liqueur. Its packaging says it should be served chilled as a dessert or dessert accompaniment. The Chocolate Cellar chocolate red wine might be a bit harder to find as it’s not available at all locations. It has flavors of chocolate and dark fruit and “pairs with pastries, biscotti, fruits and desserts.”

Which would you choose?
