New Taco Bell Cantina in Chicago is Now Serving Booze

Contributed by

Chicago’s new Taco Bell comes complete with a bouncer after 9 p.m.—but don’t worry, you won’t get IDed at the door.

The Mexican fast-food chain announced that a new Cantina store opening in Wicker Park on September 22 would be the first in the U.S. to serve beer, wine, Sangria and frozen drinks spiked with white rum, vodka or tequila. Taco Bell enthusiasts can also expect a new selection of “tapas-style” appetizer options at the new location.
