You can get alcohol delivered from just about anywhere these days. Once Pizza Hut and TGI Fridays started including booze to-go, we knew we’d never go thirsty again. But one big latecomer just announced it’s finally jumping on the delivery bandwagon.
7-Eleven announced the company is testing delivery and in-store pickup via a smartphone app. Customers can’t access the store’s entire inventory, but most staples, like Big Gulps, Slurpees, pizza and alcohol, are all available.
Currently, 7-ElevenNOW can be used at 10 locations in Dallas. But why choose 7-Eleven over other stores? The convenience chain’s loyalty program is one draw, which if you’re a frequent shopper could help you save on certain items and earn rewards.
The chain plans to roll out the program at additional locations across the U.S. next year.
