A leading expert on distilled spirits and cocktails, Katz is the co-founder and co-owner of New York Distilling Company, which produces Dorothy Parker American gin, Mister Katz’s Rock & Rye and Ragtime Rye straight American whiskey, among others. He’s the director of mixology and spirits education for Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits of New York. Katz is a regular presenter at trade shows and industry events, speaking about America’s food and cocktail heritage. Previously, he hosted “The Cocktail Hour” for Martha Stewart Living Radio on SiriusXM.
