Try the Cocchi Americano instead of Lillet...

Although lillet blanc is difficult to find on the high street, you can buy it on amazon for just under £16 for a 70cl bottle. Not sure if this is available in the US from amazon (dont know what the US laws are on online alcohol orders) - but I have just bought a bottle on Amazon UK for this price. I couldn't find any high street stores selling this outside of London, but wanted to get some to make a few Vesper Martinis at Christmas- and now I have found something else I can use lellet in for boxing day having had too many Vespers the previous day !

One question about this one - can the Lillet be swapped with something else - dry or bianco vermouth for example? The Lillet is quite impossible to find around, and as I've read in terms of classification it is closest to French vermouths. Yet I still don't know if they can be a suitable replacement.
