How to Cocktail: Bourbon Rickey

Though its cousin the Gin Rickey is more common today, this classic cocktail recipe can also be made with bourbon. Watch top San Francisco bartender Dominic Venegas mix up a traditional Bourbon Rickey and his tasty twist, the Autumn Rickey, in our video.
INGREDIENTS:

  • Half a lime
  • 1.5 oz Bourbon
  • Club soda
  • Glass: Highball

PREPARATION:
Fill a highball glass with cracked ice. Squeeze the lime half into the glass and drop it in. Add the bourbon and fill with club soda. Stir briefly to combine.

How to Cocktail: Autumn Rickey

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 Lime wheels
  • 0.5 oz Grade-B maple syrup
  • 1 oz Lime juice
  • 1.5 oz Larceny Bourbon
  • Club soda
  • Glass: Highball

PREPARATION:
Fill a highball glass with ice and insert the lime wheels. Add the maple syrup, lime juice and bourbon, and then fill with club soda. Stir briefly to combine.
