Behind a plain door in an alley, an electric-blue-lit catacomb sets the tone for the descent to this subterranean Tiki lounge. Named after opening bartender Paul McGee’s favorites by Don the Beachcomber, Three Dots’ menu is a testament to lesser-known classics (Saturn, Demerara Dry Float) complemented by modern interpretations, including the “smoking” Treasure Chest punch for a half-dozen.
THE DRINK TO DRINK: Bunny’s Banana Daiquiri. It’s as frisky as it sounds.
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO: Plan to order some “island fare.” Like all Tiki cocktails, more than two, and you’re playing with fire. Literally, if you so choose—ask your bartender.
