Initially there was an uproar from neighborhoodies when this beloved 30-year-old Venice institution was bought by restaurant group Sprout LA. But its transformation to a beautiful market, restaurant and café with a brand-new bar helped quiet some discontent. The drink options to complement chef Jason Neroni’s fresh California cuisine include a mix of French, Italian and West Coast wines, playful takes on classic cocktails and bottle and draft craft beer.
