The sleek Midwestern cousin to New York’s rowdy Dead Rabbit, GreenRiver focuses on Irish-American cocktails but has little else in common with Jack McGarry and Sean Muldoon’s seminal pub. Perched on a Streeterville high-rise, it is more restaurant than bar but offers an impressive menu of craft cocktails organized by ingredient. Credit goes to head bartender Julia Momose (The Aviary), who designed the drinks with McGarry and Muldoon.
