WHY HERE: Fifty Mils has been doing its (amazing) thing at the Four Seasons in Mexico City since 2015 and continuously impresses with a menu of slightly twisted classics and in-house creations. Staring at the sprawling arched back bar while you drink is tempting, sure, but instead sink into the sumptuous couches, which were made for lounging with friends all night long. WHY NOW: Mexico City is delightful, and Fifty Mils draws from the city’s Art Deco beauty and turns it into something wholly suave. It also is a place that’s easily able to be a refuge from time and space. No matter what the hour, the Bugs Bunny cocktail (made with Tanqueray gin, carrot juice and three chiles bitters) is a winner.
