For years, Euclid Records was known for its hot pink building with a mural of Ernie K. Doe painted—loud and proud—on the side. They’ve now expanded into larger digs a few blocks away, but the store’s extensive selection and funky vibe remains. Spend the afternoon crate digging for one-of-a-kind New Orleans records or rare jazz 45s, then wander next door to Pizza Delicious for a slice of (arguably) the city’s best mozzarella-topped pie and a glass of wine on the restaurant’s patio.
Know Before You Go: Euclid also has a charming assortment of vintage jazz magazines for perusing or purchase.
