It’s worth the trek to Long Island City to indulge in drinks at this pioneering bar. Dutch Kills was one of the first bars to have its own “ice program,” which now showcases a Clinebell machine in the basement that supplies enormous blocks of ice that are chain-sawed down to size. You can’t witness the ice show, but you do get to enjoy a perfectly chilled drink in a perfectly chill environment.
