Dorman Street

Dorman Street

WHY HERE: Drinking is only part of the fun. This friendly bar has hosted a bar napkin art competition, offers board game nights and taps special kegs on a regular basis.

WHY NOW: Since the end of Prohibition, the building that houses the bar has always been a saloon of some sort. Rumor has it the notorious gangster John Dillinger frequented the space when it was called Mahogany Bar. While no known criminals haunt the space now, it remains a favorite of locals.
