Recently opened at the end of June 2015, the long anticipated Dirty Water is a restaurant, brewery and bar from Chez TJ chef Jarad Gallagher. There is a decidedly drink-centric approach to a meal here, with something for every drinker—including 52 rotating draft beers and house-brewed beers, more than 115 wines by the glass, and an extensive spirits collection. Founder-general manager Kristian Cosentino brought on a talented drink team, including bar manager Zachary Brian Taylor, who has crafted an intriguing mix of house and classic cocktails. THE DRINK TO DRINK Vodka (and Twitter) get their due in a drink cheekily named 140 Characters, combining Zu Vodka with Ancho Reyes chile liqueur, lime and egg whites. KNOW BEFORE YOU GO Located in the Twitter building overlooking a central patio and fire pit, Dirty Water’s massive space—with comfy couch lounge areas and over 200 seats—is ideal for groups.
