10 Rums From Places You’d Never Imagine

If you think all rums are from the Caribbean, think again. Wherever sugarcane grows (and sometimes where it doesn’t), someone’s likely trying to produce rum. This shortlist of lip-smacking rums is sourced from a range of far-flung locations, ranging from Guyana to Thailand. There are no Caribbean islands featured here, though—those get plenty of play all on their own. Note too that only rums that are also available for purchase in the States were included.
