This chile pepper, lime and cachaça cocktail captures the spirit of Brazilian Carnaval.
In a shaker, muddle the agave nectar, chile pepper slices and lime wedges.
Add the remaining ingredients and fill with crushed ice.
Shake, and pour (unstrained) into a rocks glass.
Garnish with additional chile pepper slices or a lime wedge.

I've made this several times, but last night I used honey instead of agave nectar (I really don't like agave nectar) and I used 2.5 ounces of rum instead of 2 oz and the drink was dynamite.
