Tastes and feels like a weird intersection of "Singapore Sling" and "Blood and Sand". Not that it tastes bad, I only have a strange mouth-feel for that cocktails that mix Scotch with juices. Citruses in particular ... The Penicillin being a rare exception.
And in the confession minute: The blood oranges are nowhere to be found around in this season, so I made a little hack/cheat - I took a regular OJ (around 0.4 oz or something) and filled up to the half ounce with Solerno - the blood orange variant of the Cointreau. Damn - this combo deserves to be a cocktail on its own. ;)
