Contributed by Grey Goose Vodka
The classic Collins gets a black-cherry makeover.
Add the vodka, lemon juice and simple syrup to a highball glass filled with ice.
Fill with club soda and garnish with a cherry.
Also known as the Cherry Slice, this is one of the official cocktails of the 2012 US Open tennis tournament.

I would have to go strong on the Grey Goose!!!!
If its shaken before you add soda could have a nice froth and I agree a little grenadine would set it off
I think it looks very inviting totally clear with just the cherry garnish for color.
I would think this should be finished with a splash of Grenadine. That would give it a bit more of the cherry look and flavor.
