Would appreciate advice. Just got a gift of unopened 12 year old Chivas. Bottle imprint "Federal law prohibits sale or re-use of this bottle" indicates date range of 1932 to 1964. Chivas registry number on paper seal is 933070. How can I find date of origin?

Wow; we're amazed you've resisted cracking into the bottle for so long! To get a value, we suggest you contact Edgar Harden of London's Old Spirits Company: edgar@oldspiritscompany.com. He specializes in buying and selling old bottles.

I have a bottle of Chivas Regal Scotch from 1945. The seal is from General Wine & Spirits Company, NY, NY and the serial number is 155480892. Any idea of what it is worth?
