Bartenders around the world mourned bartending great Sasha Petraske when the news of his death broke last Friday. Stories of how the famed New York bartender, who founded illustrious New York bar Milk & Honey, influenced his peers have permeated social media since the discovery.

To pay their respects and toast one of the biggest influencers in the recent cocktail renaissance, the team at Milk & Honey have organized a tribute to Petraske, which will take place on Monday, August 31 from 9 to 10PM.

Even if you can’t pay tribute at Milk & Honey in London or Pegu Club in New York (the bar will be celebrating its 10th anniversary and toasting Petraske), you can toast Petraske from 9 to 10PM no matter where you are around the world. Oh, and be sure you toast him with a Daiquiri—the classic sour cocktail was reportedly one of his favorite drinks.

For more details on Milk & Honey’s tribute to Petraske, visit the bar’s website and read more about his career at the New York Times.
