Bartenders: This is No Ordinary Work Shift | Partner Tip

If you haven’t heard of the Bar Shift Program from Bacardi and Liquor.com yet, it’s time to pay attention.

Ever wish you could transport yourself to a bar on another coast? The Bar Shift Program makes that possible. The goal of this exclusive educational exchange program is to elevate professional bartenders across the country.

It works like this: Bar Shift sends a rising star to a landmark cocktail bar in a faraway city to work one night’s shift. During those few hours, the bartender learns what it takes to succeed behind the stick at one of the country’s finest drinking destinations—and brings that vital knowledge home.

Next up? Legendary bartender Pam Wiznitzer will be traveling to San Francisco to represent her newly-opened New York bar, Seamstress. On May 11, she’ll be working a Bar Shift at San Francisco’s Rye from 8pm to midnight. RSVP now for a chance to attend this next event and watch Pam sling in person. Bar Shifts are being hosted in major cities around the country throughout 2015, so keep an eye out. Your city could be next.

Watch your fellow bartender take a shot at a new stick and find out more about the Bacardi Bar Shift Program now.
