Mezcal fans, rejoice! Your favorite spirit is finally getting its time to shine. Inspired by other popular weeklong booze-themed celebrations—we’re looking at you, Negroni Week—the inaugural Mezcal Week will takes place November 6 through 13, with celebratory events in bars, restaurants and cultural institutions all over the country.
The organizers are reaching out via theMezcal Week websiteto bars and restaurants interested in joining the festivities. All types of mezcal-related experiences are encouraged—tastings, flights, cocktail specials, talks, dinners, food pairings, films, art shows and more. Events celebrating tequila’s smokier cousinare already scheduled in locations across North America, including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Oaxaca and Chicago.
