We shopped with Voisey at her local San Francisco farmers’ market and picked up an array of fresh herbs and produce, which she then turned into a couple delicious elixirs for us. Her Savory Margarita is a tasty mix of red bell pepper, reposado tequila and honey syrup, and her Rosemary & Rhubarb is a wonderful combination of autumnal favorites and apple-flavored vodka. She also shared a healthy serving of her best tips and advice for working with these unusual mixological ingredients.
Why on Earth would anyone use artificially flavored spirits after going through the "trouble" of shopping at the Farmers's Market and get the freshest, most natural ingredients? Might as well use canned fruits. :(
